Training Description:
This training covers Housing First principles and Indigenous perspective, how strong relationship supports case management, trauma-informed approaches, problem solving and support planning.
You will learn the relationship foundations of case management and practical approaches you can use everyday. Whether you are new to the field or looking to refresh your skills, this workshop is designed to empower you will the tools, insights, and connections.
Please note, we are prioritizing housing first programs. They will receive the registration instructions first; we may open it to non-Housing-First programs if seats are still available.

Who Should Attend?
This session is ideal for Direct Service Workers and emerging professionals working in homelessness, housing, outreach, and community support settings. It would be valuable for case managers, housing support workers, outreach workers, shelter staff, program coordinators, peer support workers, and anyone supporting individuals with complex housing, health, or social needs.
It is especially relevant for staff who are new to Housing First practice, transitioning into case management roles, or looking to strengthen their skills in relationship building, trauma-informed care, support planning, problem solving, and working from an Indigenous-informed lens.
Supervisors and team leads may also benefit if they want to better support staff in applying consistent case management approaches across their programs.
