“Thanks to the efforts of End Homelessness Winnipeg and the federal government, many people experiencing homelessness in the city will be safer this winter.
In a statement on Tuesday, End Homelessness Winnipeg said nine Winnipeg social service agencies will now offer enhanced critical winter weather services through the $236.7 million federal Reaching Home: Canada’s Homelessness Strategy. In collaboration with Service Canada and the Community Advisory Board for Reaching Home, End Homelessness Winnipeg put out a call for applications last month to support boots on the ground projects serving homeless Winnipeggers during the pandemic.”
