Become a Sponsor

End Homelessness Winnipeg invites your organization to show leadership in our community by becoming a local event sponsor for the Fifth Annual National Conference on Ending Homelessness being held in Winnipeg in October 2017.
By supporting End Homelessness Winnipeg in enriching the local content of the conference, you will also be supporting the many agencies in Winnipeg and throughout Manitoba that are working together to end homelessness for men, women, youth and children who live on our streets and in our shelters.
Homelessness is one of the most challenging social issues in Winnipeg and across Canada. We, and organizations across the country, are dedicated to eradicating homelessness by using approaches that some communities have already proven to be successful and developing new approaches to both prevent and eliminate homelessness.

½ Day Pre-conference Summit

End Homelessness Winnipeg is also hosting a Pre-conference Summit on October 24.

This Summit will engage participants in a facilitated and interactive process that will involve keynote speakers, panel presentations, and roundtable group work that will focus on:

1. Defining Indigenous homelessness

2. Linking Indigenous homelessness to the work of The Truth and Reconciliation Report

3. Aligning homelessness work at the federal, provincial, and local levels

The goal of this panel is to identify policies that may hinder or deter partnerships between different levels of governments toward the common goal of ending homelessness, i.e., there is a need for a connection that will support the resettlement of the Indigenous population from rural to city to prevent homelessness.
